115 EL COMPONENTE ENERGÉTICO EN LOS PROGRAMAS DE ESTUDIOS DE INGENIERÍA AMBIENTAL

Resumen


El componente energético de los programas de estudios de Ingeniería Ambiental es establecido con base en los métodos de determinación de los Índices de Calidad Ambiental (ICAs). Así, los métodos exérgico y emergético se centran en el estudio de las transformaciones energéticas. Además, las escuelas de aplicación denominadas “Economía Ecológica”, “Ecología Industrial” e “Ingeniería Ecológica”, están relacionadas con los programas de investigación en estos métodos. El protocolo de Kyoto define las cantidades de emisiones utilizando estos métodos. Sin embargo, en la vía del cumplimiento de este Protocolo en la Unión Europea, las valoraciones obtenidas por estos métodos son complementadas mediante la implementación de subastas electrónicas ambientales. Estas subastas se implementan como un mecanismo pragmático de asignación y valoración de derechos de emisión de CO2e internalización de los costos ambientales. En consecuencia, se concluye que los programas de estudios de ingeniería ambiental deben incluir el logro de las habilidades cognitivas en estos métodos y aspectos de la valoración de la calidad ambiental.
